This mask is connected with the air within the orchard cycle.
It represents the floration moment. The ecstasy of plant life. The moment of genetic exchange, and ephimeral paradise
It's a winged being that comunicates with other realities
Handmade piece during 2019 Spring and Summer. Made with Lagenaria sicerata -farmed and harvested a year before- and plants like Brachipodium retusum, Spartium junceum and Phormium tanex for the central structure. The details where made with diferent allium species and Helichrysum italicum flowers, Phoenix dactilifera fibers and stems, wild clay, rusty wire, and glue made of charcoal, pine resin and beeswax. All materials found in the forest and the street.
Its attributes are two wings and diferent flowers. Its associated color is white, and its animals are the bird and the bee.
The pctures where taken by Pol Ventura analogically. The locations are found mostly in Montserrat mountain, and also in front of El Prant de Llobregat Airport (BCN).
MÁSCARA DE LA LUZ

Esta máscara está relacionada con el aire dentro del ciclo agrario.
Representa el momento de floración. El éxtasis o cúspide de la vida vegetal. El momento del intercambio genético, y del paraíso efímero.
Es un ser con alas que comunica con otros mundos.
Pieza hecha a mano durante la primavera y verano de 2019. Hecha con Lagenaria sicerata -cultivada y cosechada un año antes- y plantas como fenazo, retama y Phormium tanex para la estructura central. Los detalles están hechos con flores de diferentes especies dentro del genero allium y de Helichrysum italicum, fibras y tallos de Phoenix dactilifera, arcilla, alambre oxidado y cola hecha de resina de pino, carbón vegetal y cera de abeja. Todos los materiales fueron recolectados del bosque, campo y la calle.
Sus atributos son unas alas, y diferentes flores secas. Se le asocia el color blanco y el pájaro o abeja.
Las imágenes fueron tomadas por Pol Ventura de forma analógica. Las localizaciones se encuentran mayormente en lo alto de la montaña de Montserrat y también en frente del aeropuerto del Prat de Llobregat.
