This mask is connected with the water within the orchard cycle
It represents the growth and development of the plants
Showing duality as a principle: the inner will (vital energy) and the external world, the drought and the storm, the upward and downward sap movement.
Handmade piece during 2019 Winter and Spring. Made with Lagenaria sicerata, and wild plants such as Phormium tanex, Spartium junceum and Brachipodium retusum. The details where made with rusty wire, Phoenix dactilifera fibers, glass pieces, old plastic ropes, old sack pieces and electric resistance. All the materials where collected in the forest and the street.
Its attributes are a dipper full of water and a cane. Its associated colour is blue and its animal is the frog.
The pictures where taken by Pol Ventura analogically. The locations are found in a motorway crossing above the Rubí stream, in the Llobregat river.
MÁSCARA DE LA LLUVIA

Tallos y hojas brotan

Esta máscara está relacionada con el agua dentro del ciclo agrario.
Representa el crecimiento y desarrollo de las plantas. Mostrando la dualidad como principio: la voluntad interior (energía vital) y los mundo externo, la sequía y la tormenta, el movimiento de la savia ascendente y el descendiente.
Pieza hecha a mano durante el invierno y primavera de 2019. Hecho con Lagenaria sicerata (calabaza de peregrino) y plantas silvestres como el fenazo, Phormium tanex y la retama para la estructura central. Las dos caras están hechas con arcilla horneada con leña.
Los detalles estan hechos con alambre oxidado, fibras de Phoenix dactilifera, trozos de cristal, cuerdas de plástico viejo, trozos de tela de saco, y resistencias de amplificador. Todo encontrado por el bosque y en la calle.
Sus atributos son un cazo lleno de agua y una caña. Se le asocia con el color azul y con la rana.
Las imágenes fueron tomadas analógicamente por Pol ventura. Las localizaciones estan todas en un cruce autovías por encima de la riera de Rubí, en el río Llobregat.
