Dialogue around the idea of habitat, refuge and sanctuary. This piece pretends to be a place for contemplation and solitude.

Instalación realizada durante la residencia artística en CACIS (Centre d'Art Contemporàni i Sostenibilitat), un antiguo horno de cal en Calders, el Moianès, Catalunya.
Diálogo alrededor del hábitat, refugio y santuario. Esta pieza pretende ser un lugar para la contemplación y estar en soledad.
Construido con materiales recolectados en el entorno.

PROCESS
The walls are built with a structure of branches and canes, covered with earth and straw. The final layer is a plaster made of lime (from the rests of the lime oven), shifted clay, horse manure (collected along the trails) and prickly pear leaf maceration.
The roof was made with bundles of Brachipodium retusum.
And the mural paintings where made with diferent collected natural pigments, such as oxids, mineral carbon, lime and aerinita.

PROCESO
Las paredes fueron construidas con una estructura de ramas y cañas, cubiertas con tierra y paja. La capa final es un revoque de cal (de los restos del antiguo horno), arcilla tamizada, heces de caballo (recogidas de los senderos), y maceración de chumbera.
El techo fue hecho con fajos de fenazo (Brachipodium retusum).
La pintura mural fue hecha con diferentes pigmentos naturales recolectaos, como óxidos, carbón mineral, cal y aerinita.
